Man United suffer injury blow ahead of West Ham clash – report

Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has suffered a dislocated shoulder, according to Manchester Evening News

Manchester United have suffered an injury blow ahead of Saturday’s visit of West Ham United after Marcos Rojo was reported to have suffered a dislocated shoulder.

According to Manchester Evening News, the Argentina international sustained the injury during first-team training to leave Louis van Gaal short on left-back options.

Rojo missed the 20-time English champions’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City at King Power Stadium last weekend as Bastian Schweinsteiger cancelled out Jamie Vardy’s opener.

The former Sporting Lisbon defender has been deputising for injured Luke Shaw in recent months after the England defender broke his leg during a Champions League clash at PSV Eindhoven.

Rojo has made one assist in six Premier League appearances this season, whilst the South American has played four Champions League group-stage games this term.

The versatile defender moved to United from Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon in a £16m deal following last summer’s World Cup.
