Man United team news: Key duo to miss Wolfsburg showdown
Manchester United will be without a number of first-team regulars when they take on Wolfsburg on Tuesday night
Wayne Rooney and Morgan Schniederlin have both been ruled out of Manchester United’s crunch Champions League clash with Wolfsburg on Tuesday night due to injury.
United captain Rooney missed Saturday’s goalless draw with West Ham United at Old Trafford due to an ankle problem and did not travel to Germany with the rest of Louis van Gaal’s squad on Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, French midfielder Schneiderlin was also not on the flight after being forced off during Saturday’s draw with a hip injury.
The Red Devils will also be without the injured Marcos Rojo, Ander Herrera, Phil Jones, Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia for the European clash.
