Man United transfers: Ander Herrera addresses exit reports on Twitter

Ander Herrera insists he is very happy at Manchester United, contrary to reports in the British media

Ander Herrera has taken to Twitter to pour cold water on reports that the midfielder is weighing up his Manchester United future.

According to the Daily Star on Tuesday morning, Herrera is keen to hold showdown talks with manager Louis van Gaal ahead of the January transfer window.

The Spanish midfielder has found his first-team opportunities limited this season after starting just six of United’s 14 Premier League appearances.

Herrera was injured for the Red Devils’s 1-1 draw with joint Premier League leaders Leicester City at King Power Stadium on Saturday evening.

However, the 26-year-old playmaker posted a photo of an interview that Herrera gave last week, reiterating his desire to remain at United for many more years.

Herrera has scored two goals and has made two assists in nine Premier League games for the Red Devils this term.
