Man United transfers: Thomas Muller delivers Red Devils blow – report
Manchester United suffer transfer blow amid report Thomas Muller will sign a new Bayern Munich deal
Manchester United have suffered a transfer blow with Thomas Muller set to sign a new Bayern Munich contract.
The Red Devils have been regularly linked with a move for the Germany international over the 12 months as Louis van Gaal looks to bring the Bayern striker to Old Trafford.
Muller has a contract with Bayern until 2019 but German media outlet Bild is reporting that the 26-year-old is set to extend his current deal in the near future.
Chelsea have also been linked with a move for the World Cup winner after he scored 13 times in 14 Bundesliga games.
Fjortoft likened Muller to United’s famous one-club legend Ryan Giggs after he retweeted Bild’s report that the striker will extend his current contact.
As expected:
Thomas Müller will extend his contract at Bayern. Can see him work at Bayern after his career too https://t.co/Uv3vRuU2Tr
