Tottenham are unbeaten in their last 14 Premier League games since a 1-0 loss to top-four rivals Manchester United on the opening day of the season.

Spurs have already beaten Manchester City this season, whilst the north London side drew with rivals Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.

Speaking to talkSPORT following Tottenham’s 1-1 draw with West Brom, Pochettino addressed growing talk of Tottenham making a sustained push for the title.

“If the people believe we are contenders I am happy because (it means) we have shown enough quality for that,” Pochettino said.

“Agree or not agree we want to win the next game and take the three points. I always believe in my squad and my players. I believe we can win.”

Tottenham are three points behind fourth-placed Manchester United in the Premier League table.
Spurs host Newcastle United at White Hart Lane in their next Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
