Mesut Ozil is all smiles as he and his Arsenal team-mates gear up for their Premier League clash against Sunderland
Mesut Ozil was all smiles as he and his Arsenal team-mates prepared for Saturday’s clash with Sunderland at Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners head into the game looking to return to winning ways in the top flight after the disappointment of last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Norwich City.
The north London side have only managed to take two points from a possible nine in the top flight and will be aiming for a victory against Sam Allardyce’s Black Cats at The Emirates.
And the German World Cup winner is clearly looking forward to Saturday’s clash against Sunderland, if his latest post on social media is anything to go by.
Ozil shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Friday afternoon and wrote: “Smile! … ’cause it’s Premier League time again tomorrow! #training #YaGunnersYa @arsenal”
Ozil, 27, has been one of the Premier League’s standout performers so far this season.
The former Real Madrid playmaker has scored two goals and notched up 11 assists for the Gunners. He was voted the club’s player of the month for November.
