Michael Owen predicts the outcome of West Brom v Tottenham
Michael Owen is expecting Tottenham to claim three points at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday
Michael Owen is expecting Tottenham Hotspur to secure victory at West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Lilywhites head into Saturday’s game looking to return to winning ways after they were held to a goalless draw by Chelsea at White Hart Lane last weekend.
Spurs have been in fine form in the Premier League so far this season and are unbeaten in the top flight since their opening-weekend defeat at the hands of Manchester United.
Former Liverpool striker Owen has been very impressed by what he has seen of Mauricio Pochettino’s men this season and is expecting them to take the three points home from the Hawthorns on Saturday.
Ex-England star Owen wrote on Colossusbets.com: “West Brom have lost four of their seven home games, and it could be defeat number five as I take Tottenham to nick a tight one 1-0 or 2-1.
“Tottenham have built their impressive start to the season largely on their unbeaten home form, but they have only lost once on the road – an opening-day 1-0 defeat at Man United – and they just look a very solid outfit, with a fair bit of class thrown in.

“However, I can’t rule out a draw – Tottenham have shared the points in half of their league games.”
Spurs head into Saturday’s game in fifth place in the Premier League table and four points behind joint leaders Manchester City and Leicester City after 14 games of the new top-flight season.
