Michael Owen reacts to Arsenal and Chelsea’s Champions League draw
Michael Owen has his say after Arsenal are drawn with Barcelona and Chelsea face PSG in the Champions League last 16
Michael Owen has described Arsenal and Chelsea’s Champions League last-16 draw as a “nightmare” for the English clubs.
Arsenal were pitted against Barcelona, while Chelsea will take on Paris Saint-Germain in the first knockout round of Europe’s elite club competition.
Manchester City, meanwhile, were handed a more favourable tie against Dynamo Kiev.
Owen used his personal Twitter account to post an update on Monday afternoon after the draw was made at Uefa’s headquarters in Switzerland.
The former Manchester United and Liverpool striker tweeted:
Love The Champions League draw. Great tie for City but nightmare ties for Arsenal and Chelsea. https://t.co/fK68Phi9lC
