Michael Owen: This player will score for Chelsea v Watford

Michael Owen is tipping Oscar to find the net for Chelsea against Watford on Saturday

Michael Owen is tipping Oscar to fire Chelsea to victory over Watford in Guus Hiddink’s first game in charge of the club this weekend.

The Blues host the Hornets at Stamford Bridge in their second game since Jose Mourinho was sacked as Chelsea manager earlier this month.

Chelsea are looking to resurrect their season after nine defeats in their opening 16 games left the Blues in 15th place in the Premier League table and their title defence in tatters.

Owen was impressed by what he saw from Oscar during last weekend’s 3-1 win over Sunderland at Stamford Bridge, and the former Liverpool striker is backing the Brazilian to find the net against Watford.

Owen wrote in his blog for Bet Victor: “Chelsea bounced back against Sunderland at the weekend but will need to be at their best defensively against the excellent partnership of Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo.

“Oscar was back to something like his best against the Black Cats and is 2/1 to score at anytime against the Hornets.”
