Mourinho delivers latest Chelsea injury update ahead of Porto test

Jose Mourinho delivers the latest Chelsea team news ahead of the Champions League clash with Porto

John Terry and Ramires have both been passed fit to feature in Chelsea’s crunch Champions League clash with Porto at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, Jose Mourinho has confirmed.

Blues captain Terry has not played since picking up an injury in the 4-0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv two weeks ago, while midfielder Ramires sustained an injury in the build-up to that match and has not played since.

Mourinho confirmed that the duo are set to return to the Chelsea squad for their Champions League test against the Portuguese side when speaking to the media at his pre-match news conference at Cobham on Tuesday afternoon.

The Chelsea boss, whose side slumped to a 1-0 loss to Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday, also confirmed that Radamel Falcao is back in training but not ready for Wednesday’s game.

Mourinho told the news conference at Cobham: “Falcao is not fit, he just had a period with us (today), he’s still a couple of weeks away. JT and Ramires look fine.”
