Mourinho gives latest Chelsea injury update ahead of Leicester game

Jose Mourinho says Chelsea are injury-free ahead of Leicester trip

Jose Mourinho has given his Chelsea squad a clean bill of health ahead of their trip to Premier League leaders Leicester City on Monday night.

John Terry made his first appearance at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night since the Chelsea captain injured his ankle during their 4-0 win against Maccabi Tel-Aviv in the Champions League last month.

Ramires started their 2-0 win against Porto mid-week ahead of struggling Cesc Fabregas after shaking off an injury problem.

Radamel Falcao took part in training ahead of the visit of his former employers but the Colombia international didn’t play any part in the comfortable win.

Speaking at his pre-match media conference at Cobham training ground on Friday afternoon, Mourinho confirmed he had no injury doubts ahead of Monday night’s game at King Power Stadium.

Spain striker Diego Costa returned to the Chelsea starting line-up for the first time in three games as he helped inspire the Blues to a 2-0 victory over Porto in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
