Anthony Martial hands over his 2015 Golden Boy award to his baby daughter Peyton
Anthony Martial handed his Golden Boy award over to his baby daughter Peyton after the Manchester United striker received his latest accolade this month.
The 20-year-old forward won the award for Europe’s best young player earlier in December, beating off competition from the likes of Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman and Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin.
And the United striker’s young daughter looked delighted about her father’s latest award.
Martial’s wife Samantha posted the picture above on her personal Instagram account on Christmas Eve and wrote: “🎅🔮”
Martial’s impressive year has included a successful end to the season with Monaco as they finished third in Ligue 1, a first senior cap for France in September and six goals in his first 19 appearances for United.
Established by Italian publication Tuttosport in 2003, the Golden Boy award is for players under the age of 21 and is voted for by journalists from 30 major newspapers across the continent.
Martial and his United team-mates are now gearing up for their Premier League trip to Stoke City on Boxing Day.
