Photo: Arsenal duo all smiles on flight home after Olympiacos win

Mathieu Flamini and Laurent Koscielny looked to be in good spirits as Arsenal flew back to England following their heroic 3-0 Champions League win at Olympiacos on Wednesday night.

Olivier Giroud scored a superb hat-trick as Arsene Wenger’s men achieved the required result to seal their progress into the last 16 of Europe’s elite club competition.

The north London side finished second in their group behind winners Bayern Munich and will learn their opponents for next round in Monday’s draw.

And Arsenal midfielder Flamini used his personal Instagram account to snap a picture with Koscielny and congratulate his Arsenal team-mates on their achievement.

Flamini shared the picture above on the app and wrote: “Time to go back home…!! Great performance guys. Amazing team spirit tonight. 🏼🏼 @arsenal #gunners #championsleague”

The French duo and their Arsenal team-mates will now turn their attentions back to Premier League affairs and their trip to Aston Villa on Sunday.

The Gunners are currently in second place in the table and two points behind leaders Leicester.
