Sergio Ageuro is back in training ahead of Manchester City's trip to Arsenal in the Premier League on Monday night
Manchester City have been handed a huge boost ahead of their Premier League showdown with Arsenal at Emirates Stadium next week after Sergio Aguero returned to training on Wednesday.
The talismanic Argentina striker has been out of action since last month due to a heel injury but is now on course to return to action when the Citizens travel to north London on Monday night.
City boss Manuel Pellegrini revealed last week that he hoped to have the 27-year-old available for the game against Arsenal in the capital.
And the forward has handed the Citizens a timely boost ahead of their blockbuster clash with the Gunners.
Aguero posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Wednesday afternoon and wrote: “Volver a entrenar! Back to training! #mcfc”
Arsenal head into Monday’s game in second place in the Premier League table and two points behind leaders Leicester City. Manchester City, meanwhile, are a point behind the Gunners.
