Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has his say on his relationship with axed Blues manager Jose Mourinho
Cesc Fabregas has taken to Instagram to address false speculation surrounding his relationship with axed Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
The Blues made the decision to part company with the 52-year-old in the wake of last week’s 2-1 loss to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
Former Chelsea midfielder Pat Nevin apologised to Fabregas for suggesting the midfielder was the unnamed Chelsea player who said he would “rather lose than win” for outspoken axed manager Mourinho.
The Spain international had already issued a statement on his Twitter account earlier this season following another media report that claimed Fabregas was behind an apparent dressing room revolt.
However, Fabregas issued a statement on his Instagram page on Wednesday evening to address Nevin’s apology and clarify his relationship with Mourinho.
