Radamel Falcao trained with his Chelsea team-mates at a floodlit Stamford Bridge on Christmas Day
Radamel Falcao has declared himself ready for action as Chelsea prepare for their Premier League clash with Watford at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day.
Guus Hiddink’s men completed their final training session at the west London club’s home ground under the floodlights on Christmas Day.
Hiddink has been tasked with steering Chelsea out of trouble following Jose Mourinho’s sacking earlier this month after a miserable run of nine Premier League defeats from their opening 16 top-flight games.
Falcao has barely featured for Chelsea so far this season since arriving at Stamford Bridge on loan from Monaco during the summer transfer window.
However, the Colombia international is clearly desperate to get some first-team action under his belt as Chelsea prepare to host the Hornets on Saturday.
Falcao shared the pictures above on his personal Instagram account on Christmas Day evening and wrote: “Today training at Stamford Bridge. We are ready for tomorrow.”
Falcao has only scored one goal in nine Premier League appearances so far for Chelsea this season.
