Erik Lamela has ramped up his training preparations as Tottenham prepare for their trip to West Brom on Saturday
Erik Lamela has taken to social media to reveal that he has been taking double training sessions as Tottenham Hotspur prepare for their Premier League trip to West Bromwich Albion this weekend.
The 23-year-old Argentina playmaker featured for 34 minutes as the north London side were held to a goalless draw by Chelsea at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon.
That result left Spurs in fifth place in the Premier League table and four points behind leaders Manchester City as the hectic festive schedule looms large.
Lamela will be hoping to feature when Tottenham travel to The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.
And the midfielder has clearly been stepping up his preparations as he bids to earn his spot against the Baggies.

Lamela posted the picture above of himself relaxing at home with his dog on his personal Instagram account on Wednesday afternoon and wrote: “After a double training session resting with my best mate.

Lamela has scored two goals and made three assists in 12 Premier League appearances for Spurs this season.
