Radamel Falcao and Oscar were in good spirits as Chelsea trained ahead of the visit of Watford on Boxing Day.

The struggling Blues striker hasn’t featured for the defending Premier League champions since a 3-0 defeat by Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on 30 October.

However, 29-year-old Falcao appears to have recovered from a muscular injury in time for Saturday’s clash against London rivals Watford at Stamford Bridge.

Falcao, who moved to Chelsea from Ligue 1 side Monaco on a season-long loan in July, posted the above photo from training at Cobham training ground on Christmas Eve.

Falcao wrote on his Instagram page: “Training day before Watford game 💪🏽⚽️”

The former Porto striker moved to Chelsea on a season-long loan from Ligue 1 side Monaco after having struggled at Old Trafford last term.

Falcao, who scored four times in 26 games during a loan spell at Manchester United last season, has netted one Premier League goal for Chelsea this term.
