Liverpool send message to Simon Mignolet after Premier League feat
Liverpool congratulate their number one goalkeeper Simon Mignolet on keeping the most Premier League clean sheets in 2015
Liverpool sent a message of congratulations to Simon Mignolet after he kept his 16th clean sheet of 2015 in a 1-0 victory over Sunderland on Wednesday night.
The Belgium international has kept more clean sheets in the Premier League than any other goalkeeper this season after the shot stopper helped the Reds to secure three points.
Mignolet has been facing questions surrounding his long-term future at Anfield in recent months after a number of high-profile errors.
However, for now at least, the 28-year-old appears to have the support of his employers after posting a special dedication to Mignolet on Twitter.
Congratulations to @SMignolet on keeping more clean sheets (16) than any other Premier League keeper in 2015.
