Chelsea summer signing Papy Djilobodji takes to Instagram to post cryptic message on Tuesday afternoon
Papy Djilobodji is very much the forgotten man at Chelsea.
The summer signing hasn’t played a Premier League minute so far this season after seemingly failing to make an impression under axed Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
The defending Premier League champions agreed a reported £4m deal with the Ligue 1 side Nantes for the Senegal international in August.
Djilobodji’s only appearance for the west London side came as a second-half substitute in Chelsea’s 4-1 victory over Walsall in the League Cup third round.
However, the Senegalese defender will be hoping that his fortunes improve after Dutch coach Gus Hiddink was named as the new Chelsea manager at the weekend.
Djilobodji posted on his Instagram page on Thursday afternoon: “If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you. #godisgood”
The 27-year-old has scored six times in 169 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 side.

Djilobodji, who had just 12 months remaining on his current Nantes deal, moved to Nantes from US Senart-Moissy in 2010.
Chelsea host Watford at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday.
