Matteo Darmian looked to be in good spirits as he enjoyed his first Christmas as a Manchester United player.

The Italian defender, along with the rest of his Red Devils team-mates, took part in a light training session on Christmas Day as they prepared for their Premier League trip to Stoke City on Saturday.

Darmian, who joined United from Torino during the summer transfer window, has been getting a taste of his first Christmas in England following his switch earlier in the year.

And the defender looked to be enjoying himself with his loved ones, as he snapped the picture above and posted it on his personal Instagram account.

Darmian shared the snap and wrote on the app: “It’s Christmas time! Tanti auguri a tutti di buon natale!! Merry Christmas!!! #christmas #family #manchester”
