Novak Djokovic looked relaxed as he enjoyed Christmas Day with his loved ones as the 2016 tennis season looms large.

The world No1 enjoyed the best season of his career in 2015, winning the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the US Open, while also reaching the final of Roland Garros.

The Serb also triumphed at the ATP World Tour Finals in London last month to cap a memorable year.

Djokovic has been enjoying some well-earned downtime in recent weeks following a hectic year.

And the 28-year-old took some time out to send a festive message to his fans on Instagram on Friday after spending his day with his closest loved ones.

Djokovic posted the picture above on the photo-sharing app and wrote: “May you experience lots of love, laughter and joy this Christmas and beyond.

“Best wishes from @jelenadjokovicndf, Stefan and me!”
