Olivier Giroud expresses his pride at becoming the third-quickest Arsenal player to score 50 Premier League goals
Olivier Giroud has expressed his pride on Twitter after scoring his 50th Premier League goal for Arsenal at the weekend.
The France international netted the Gunners’ opener from the penalty spot to send Arsene Wenger’s men on their way to a 2-0 win over Aston Villa at Villa Park.
The goal was Giroud’s 50th in the top flight and the striker was the second-quickest Arsenal player to achieve the feat, behind Thierry Henry and Ian Wright.
And the 29-year-old used his personal Twitter account to express his pride at the milestone. He posted on Tuesday afternoon:

Giroud has been in fine form for Arsenal in recent weeks and has scored nine goals in 16 Premier League games for the north London side so far this season.
