Philippe Coutinho is all smiles with his Liverpool player of the month award for November
Philippe Coutinho may have missed the last 10 days of November, but the playmaker has still been named Liverpool’s player of the month.
The Brazil international received the accolade after influential performance in Liverpool’s impressive 4-1 win at Manchester City.
The Reds midfielder scored one goal and made one assist in a stunning 68-minute performance before Coutinho succumbed to a hamstring injury and was replaced by Jordon Ibe.
The South American also netted in a 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace at Anfield in their preceding Premier League game before a memorable Saturday evening at The Etihad.
And Coutinho, who joined the Merseyside outfit from Inter Milan in January 2013, was all smiles with his Liverpool player of the month award for November.
The Brazilian midfielder played just 158 minutes of first-team football in November.
