Tom Carroll speaks of his delight to score his first Tottenham Hotspur goal
Tom Carroll has taken to Instagram to reflect on his first Tottenham Hotspur goal on Thursday night.
The England Under-21 international scored the north London side’s final goal in a 4-1 rout of Ligue 1 side Monaco at White Hart Lane.
Carroll has already racked up 10 appearances in all competitions this season for Spurs this season, proving something of a Tottenham regular in the Europa League.
And the Spurs youngster posted the above collage of photos on Instagram from their outstanding 4-1 victory to secure top spot in Group G.
Carroll wrote on the photo-sharing app: “Great performance from the boys last night ! Buzzing to get my 1st goal for the club ⚽️”
Erik Lamela scored a first-half hat-trick to put Tottenham firmly in charge of the Europa League clash.
On-loan AC Milan midfielder Stephan El Sharaawy did score a late consolation before Carroll restored Tottenham’s three-goal cushion.
The 23-year-old midfielder will be hoping to push for a starting spot in Tottenham’s clash against Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.
