Ryan Mason has reflected on a special 2015 for the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder on Instagram.

The 24-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough 12 months at the north London side after having established himself as a first-team regular.

Mason was rewarded for a fine start to the 2014/15 season with a new five-and-a-half year contract in January 2015.

The midfielder celebrated his new long-term deal with his first Premier League goal in a 3-2 victory over Swansea City in April.

While Mason has endured an injury-hit start to the current campaign which has limited the midfielder to just five Premier League starts this season, the England international was in high spirits on New Year’s Eve.

Mason wrote on his Instagram page: “2015 best 9 💙 bring on 2016 #coys”

The Tottenham midfielder is facing a battle to win back his first-team spot after the impressive form of Eric Dier and Dele Alli.
