Guus Hiddink met his Chelsea players after watching them beat Sunderland 3-1 on Saturday

Guus Hiddink shook hands with his Chelsea players after watching the Blues secure a 3-1 win over Sunderland on Saturday in their first game following Jose Mourinho’s sacking.

Hiddink has been appointed as the west London club’s first team coach until the end of the season and watched on from the stands as the Blues wrapped up victory over the Black Cats.

Branislav Ivanovic gave the home side the lead before Pedro Rodriguez made it 2-0 before half-time. Oscar’s penalty put Chelsea 3-0 up, before Fabio Borini pulled one back for the visitors.
