Wayne Rooney took his son Kai to watch Everton play Crystal Palace at Goodison Park on Monday night

Wayne Rooney was in the stands to watch Everton take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Monday night as the Manchester United captain continues his recovery from an ankle injury.

The England international sat out United’s goalless draw with West Ham United at the weekend due to the problem and will also miss Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Wolfsburg in Germany.

Former Everton star Rooney decided to take his son Kai to Goodison Park for Monday night’s Premier League clash as he enjoyed some downtime from his rehabilitation.

Here are some of the best pictures as Rooney enjoyed the game at Goodison Park.
