A handful of Arsenal's players spread some festive cheer on Friday by paying visits to some London hospitals

Aaron Ramsey and Danny Welbeck were among the Arsenal players to spread some Christmas cheer on Friday as they paid visits to some of London’s hospitals.

A number of Arsenal players, also including Mikel Arteta and David Ospina, visited patients at the Royal London Hospital and Whittington Hospital to hand out Christmas presents.

Ramsey was pictured alongside the Gunners striker visiting patients in the Barts Health NHS Trust as Arsene Wenger’s side turn their attentions to Monday night’s Premier League showdown with Manchester City at Emirates Stadium.

The Arsenal midfielder shared the pictures above on his personal Instagram account on Friday afternoon and wrote: “Great to meet Sammy and Chloe during our visit to Barts Health NHS Trust today, they brightened up my Friday!”

Theo Walcott was also among the players to get into the festive spirit, and was all smiles as he posed for a picture with a patient at Great Ormond Street hospital.

Walcott shared the picture above on Instagram and wrote: “Great to see Todd & everyone @greatormondst yesterday. Support #GivetoGOSH this Christmas.”

Meanwhile, Ospina shared the picture below and added: “Special today meeting the kids at Whittington Hospital today.”
