Piers Morgan hails Arsenal’s perfect weekend after Liverpool defeat
Club shareholder Piers Morgan says he is dreaming of Arsenal winning the Premier League title this season
Piers Morgan has hailed a perfect weekend for Arsenal after Liverpool lost 2-0 at Newcastle United on Sunday.
The Reds suffered their first defeat in five games after Martin Skrtel’s own goal and Wijnaldum’s added-time strike for the hosts at St James’ Park.
Arsenal are a point behind surprise Premier League leaders Leicester City after a 3-1 win against Sunderland on Saturday, whilst Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur all dropped points this weekend.
Outspoken Arsenal supporters Morgan was feeling upbeat about the north London side’s title prospects following Liverpool’s loss to the Magpies.
Great weekend for Arsenal.
We've got as much chance as anyone of winning this crazy League. Dare to dream?

Arsenal eased to victory over Sam Allardyce’s struggling Sunderland side thanks to goals from Joel Campbell, Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey.
The Gunners have won just one of their last three Premier League games following a surprise loss at West Brom and last weekend’s 1-1 draw at Norwich City.
Happier times.
