Piers Morgan: Jose Mourinho could guide Man United to title glory
Piers Morgan says Jose Mourinho with a point to prove would be a dangerous prospect at Man United
Piers Morgan says Jose Mourinho could conceivably guide Manchester United to title glory this season if the axed Chelsea manager replaces Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese coach has been touted as a potential replacement for Van Gaal if the 20-time English champions run out of patience with their 64-year-old manager.
Van Gaal was facing fresh speculation over his position after Cameron Jerome edged Norwich in front at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon just hours after Mourinho underlined his desire to stay in England in a statement following Thursday’s sacking.
And outspoken Arsenal supporter Morgan highlighted the prospect of Mourinho taking over at Old Trafford, adding that the Special One would be a dangerous proposition with a point to prove.
Imagine if United sack van Gaal, hire Mourinho & win the League this season….

I bet United fans would take Mourinho in less time than it takes van Gaal to open his stupid notepad.

Mourinho won 21 trophies in 12 years when he DIDN'T have a point to prove.
Imagine what he'd be like now…

Van Gaal took over the reins at Old Trafford from Sir Alex Ferguson’s successor in May 2014.
