Piers Morgan makes bold claim about Arsenal’s title hopes

Piers Morgan vows to end his #WengerOut campaign and support the Arsenal boss until the end of the season

Piers Morgan has taken to social media to reveal that he has decided to finally get fully behind Arsenal after they moved up to second place in the Premier League on Saturday.

Goals from Joel Campbell, Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey wrapped up a 3-1 win over Sunderland for the north London side as both Manchester clubs dropped points.

The result left Arsenal in second place in the table and two points behind leaders Leicester City after 15 games of the new season.

Arsenal fan and shareholder Morgan has been one of Arsene Wenger’s harshest critics in recent times and has often called for the Frenchman to be sacked over the last few years.

However, the former Daily Mirror editor has now promised to change his attitude and issue his backing for the Gunners as they look win their first top-flight title since 2004.

Morgan tweeted on Saturday evening:

Arsenal, who have won six of their last 10 Premier League games, take on Olympiacos in the Champions League on Wednesday night knowing that a win would seal their place in the last 16.
