Piers Morgan tells Arsenal to sign this striker in January
Piers Morgan once again urges Arsene Wenger to consider signing Jamie Vardy for Arsenal next month
Piers Morgan has once again taken to social media to urge Arsene Wenger to splash the cash on bringing Jamie Vardy to Arsenal during the January transfer window.
The Gunners have inevitably been linked with a host of players in recent weeks as the mid-season window draws ever nearer.
Wenger opted not to bring in any outfield players during the summer transfer window as he only signed goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea.
Arsenal are currently second in the Premier League table and have been touted by many as genuine title contenders this season.
And Gunners shareholder Morgan wants to see Wenger make a move to sign the prolific Vardy, 28, next month after the striker netted his 15th Premier League goal of the season during Leicester’s 2-1 win over Chelsea on Monday night.
Former Daily Mirror editor Morgan tweeted on Monday night:
Vardy.
Again.
What a brilliant striker.
SIGN HIM, WENGER.
