Ray Parlour reacts to Arsenal’s 4-0 loss to Southampton
Ray Parlour takes to Twitter somewhat belatedly after Arsenal lose 4-0 to Southampton
Ray Parlour has finally taken to Twitter to reflect on Arsenal’s embarrassing 4-0 loss to Southampton at St Mary’s on Boxing Day.
The Saints eased to an impressive victory over second-placed Arsenal after Shane Long’s brace and goals from Cuco Martina and Jose Fonte on Saturday night.
The Gunners surrendered the chance to go top of the Premier League table after Liverpool were 1-0 winners against leaders Leicester City at Anfield.
Former Arsenal midfielder Parlour, who won three titles during his career, only had praise for Ronald Koeman’s Southampton side for their performance against Arsene Wenger’s men.
Just about come round from the Arsenal Result 😖Well done saints.👍 Looking forward to @CPFC v @SwansOfficial tomorrow @talksportmdl
