Robbie Savage is tipping Tottenham Hotspur to finish above Leicester City in the Premier League this season – despite the Foxes’ stunning form this term.
Claudio Ranieri’s men held Manchester City to a goalless draw in the Premier League on Tuesday night to move level on points with top-flight leaders Arsenal.
Spurs are currently fourth in the table and just four points behind their local rivals heading into 2016.
The Lilywhites have been tipped by some to be capable of mounting a challenge for the Premier League title in the new year following their solid start to the season.
And former Birmingham City midfielder Savage feels that the north London side will eventually leapfrog Ranieri’s high-flying Foxes in the coming months.
Speaking on BT Sport after Leicester’s draw with Manchester City on Tuesday night, Savage said: “If they [Leicester] finish fourth it’s a remarkable season. They’re not going to win the league because Arsenal and Man City are better.
“I think Spurs will finish above Leicester as well because of the average age of their squad and [Mauricio] Pochettino has got them playing fantastic football.

“I just think there are three better teams than Leicester.”
Tottenham’s next Premier League game is a trip to Goodison Park to face Everton on Sunday afternoon.
