Simon Mignolet takes to Twitter to reflect on Liverpool's 1-0 victory over Sunderland on Wednesday night

Simon Mignolet hailed an important three points for Liverpool after their 2-1 victory over Sunderland at Stadium of Light on Wednesday night.

The Reds secured back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time under Jurgen Klopp thanks to Christian Benteke’s second-half winner.

Belgium international Mignolet has now kept 16 clean sheets in the English top flight in 2015 which is more than any other Premier League goalkeeper.

And the 28-year-old shot stopper took to Twitter on Thursday morning to reflect on Liverpool’s slender win against Sam Alardyce’s side.

Liverpool are in seventh place in the Premier League table and five points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

The Reds are nine points adrift of Premier League leaders Arsenal ahead of their clash against West Ham United in Saturday’s early kick-off.
