Thierry Henry was impressed by Arsenal's display during their 2-1 win over Manchester City at Emirates Stadium
Thierry Henry expressed his delight at seeing Arsenal move back to within two points of Premier League leaders Leicester City with a 2-1 win over Manchester City at Emirates Stadium on Monday night.
After an uninspiring opening half-hour, Theo Walcott fired the home side into the lead in the 33rd minute with a superb low shot into the bottom corner.

The goal gave Arsenal confidence and Olivier Giroud doubled their lead on the stroke of half-time when he slotted his finish between Joe Hart’s legs.
Yaya Toure pulled one back for the visitors with eight minutes left with a superb shot into the top corner to set up a tense finale.
But the Gunners held on to move four points clear of Manuel Pellegrini’s men in the table.
“The end was very nervy but overall I’m very happy for Arsenal. They performed well tonight,” said Henry, speaking on Sky Sports.
“They couldn’t beat the big teams before like that and almost in an ‘unlike Arsenal way’ – defending well, tight and countering.
“We saw that against Bayern Munich [and] we saw it against Manchester United.”

Mesut Ozil continued his fine form by setting up both of Arsenal’s goals in the first half to take him to 15 Premier League assists for the season.
“We were debating about Ozil and David Silva, and I think that Ozil won that fight and closed that debate for the night,” Henry added.
Arsenal now turn their attentions to their trip to Southampton on Boxing Day.
