Tottenham star Harry Kane issues Newcastle warning

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is feeling inspired after a great night of boxing and UFC fighting

Harry Kane has warned Newcastle United that he is ready to do his job for Tottenham Hotspur after drawing inspiration from fight night on Saturday.

Olympic champion Anthony Joshua became the British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion after the 26-year-old claimed a seventh-round stoppage against Dillian Whyte at The O2 on Saturday night.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, Irishman Conor McGregor became the undisputed UFC featherweight champion after he knocked out Jose Aldo inside 13 seconds in Las Vegas.

And Kane, who has failed to score in his last two games for the north London side, is ready for the visit of Steve McClaren’s Newcastle at White Hart Lane on Saturday evening.

Kane has scored eight times in 13 Premier League games this season.

The reigning PFA young player of the year has netted 10 times in 19 matches in all competitions.
