Barkley, Parlour and more: Twitter reacts as Arsenal beat Man City

Ross Barkley and Ray Parlour take to Twitter after Arsenal edge to 2-1 victory over Manchester City

Arsenal underlined their Premier League title credentials with a 2-1 victory over rivals Manchester City on Monday night.

The Gunners made the breakthrough in the 33rd minute thanks to Theo Walcott’s opener after the England striker curled a powerful finish past his Three Lions colleague Joe Hart.

Olivier Giroud scored his sixth goal in four games in all competitions after he rifled a finish through Hart’s legs to hand the hosts a commanding 2-0 lead before the break.

Yaya Toure netted an 81st-minute consolation to ensure a nervy finish, but the former professionals were still impressed with Arsenal’s performance on Twitter.
