Agent confirms striker set for summer Liverpool transfer
Mario Balotelli is expected to make a return to Liverpool in the summer after his loan stint at AC Milan
Mario Balotelli’s agent has confirmed that the striker is expected to return to Liverpool in the summer transfer window when his loan stint at AC Milan comes to an end.
The Italy international was shipped off to the Serie A side after being deemed surplus to requirements at Anfield by then-manager Brendan Rodgers over the summer.
It remains to be seen if Balotelli has a future under newly appointed Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp,
But the forward’s agent Mino Raiola appears to have suggested that Balotelli may be set to play for the Merseyside outfit under Klopp next season.
Agent Raiola told Fantagazzetta: “Is a return to Anfield possible for Balotelli? Theoretically, yes as he has a contract.
“He is a Liverpool player and in June he is expected to return to England.”
