Arsenal fan Piers Morgan reacts on Twitter to Tottenham goal

Piers Morgan admits he was impressed by Dele Alli's goal in Tottenham's 3-1 win at Palace on Saturday

Piers Morgan has taken to social media to reluctantly praise Dele Alli’s stunning goal for Tottenham during Saturday’s 3-1 win over Crystal Palace.

Alli has been one of Tottenham’s standout performers this season and made the headlines once again when he fired a superb volley into the bottom corner at Selhurst Park to send Spurs on their way to victory over the Eagles.

Saturday’s victory left Spurs in fourth place in the Premier League table, with many touting the north London side as possible outsiders to win the title this season.

The Lilywhites are looking to build on their fifth-placed finish under Mauricio Pochettino last season.

And celebrity Arsenal fan and shareholder Morgan used his personal Twitter account to accept that Alli’s goal was one of the strikes of the season.

Morgan tweeted on Saturday:
