Arsenal are lining up a £5m swoop to sign Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell this month, according to reports.

The Gunners have been linked with a host of players in recent weeks and have already moved to bring in Mohamed Elneny from FC Basel.

Arsene Wenger is believed to be on the lookout for further reinforcements before the January transfer window closes.

And it appears that the north London side are keen on snapping up 19-year-old defender Chilwell.

The Daily Mail reports that Arsenal have made official enquiries about landing the left-back this month.

Chilwell is said to earn around £800 a week on his current contract, which has 18 months left to run at the King Power Stadium.
