Arsenal star Mesut Ozil: This is highlight of my career so far
Mesut Ozil ranks Arsenal's FA Cup triumphs just behind Germany's World Cup success
Mesut Ozil says Arsenal’s FA Cup triumphs rank just behind winning the World Cup with Germany in his career highlights.
The 27-year-old midfielder helped Joachim Low’s side win the world title in Brazil in 2014 after a 1-0 extra-time victory over Argentina.
The ultimate highlight has to be lifting the World Cup with Germany

Ozil has won back-to-back FA Cups since moving to Arsenal in a club-record £42.5m deal from La Liga giants Real Madrid in 2013.
And in what is a timely boost for the reputation of the FA Cup, Ozil explained why winning the 2014 and 2015 editions of the competition means so much to the German playmaker.
“That’s a really difficult question to answer,” Ozil speaking in a Q&A with Adidas.
“Winning two FA Cups with my club has been fantastic as it’s something our fans waited eight years for. But the ultimate highlight has to be lifting the World Cup with Germany.
“There was real expectation around us before the tournament and we stepped up and delivered, including a huge performance against Brazil.
“It was incredible to walk off the pitch with my team mates knowing that the world would be talking about that game for a long time.”
Ozil has been one of the Premier League’s standout players so far this season after a stunning return of three goals and 16 assists in 20 Premier League appearances.
