Arsenal told to pay £53.4m for Borussia Dortmund star – report

Borussia Dortmund have placed a £53.4m price-tag on Arsenal target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to reports

Borussia Dortmund have placed a £53.4m price-tag on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this January, according to reports.

The forward has been in fine form for the Bundesliga side so far this season and has already scored 24 goals in 23 games for the German side.

Aubameyang has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal reportedly keeping tabs on the 26-year-old attacker.

Now, Dortmund appear to have indicated that they are not willing to sell the Gabon international for anything less than £53.4m, according to Kike Marin.

Marin tweeted on Monday afternoon:

Arsene Wenger is believed to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements as he bids to further bolster his squad for a title challenge following the arrival of Mohamed Elneny last week.

The Gunners played out a goalless draw at Stoke City on Sunday afternoon to move back to the top of the Premier League table on goal difference.
