Bastian Schweinsteiger takes to Twitter after Manchester United's 1-0 victory over Liverpool
Bastian Schweinsteiger hailed three big points for Manchester United after a 1-0 win against Liverpool.
United captain Wayne Rooney scored a second-half winner to seal three points for the visitors and secure their fifth successive win over Liverpool.
And Germany international Schweinsteiger, who missed the north-west derby due to injury, heaped praise on his Red Devils team-mates after their vital win.

Earlier, Schweinsteiger sent a pre-match message to Louis van Gaal’s player as United looked to return to winning ways following Tuesday night’s 3-3 draw with Newcastle United.

Schweinsteiger was thought to be unlikely to line up for the Red Devils against their bitter rivals Liverpool at Anfield due to an injury problem.
