Cesc Fabregas enjoyed a day off after helping Chelsea beat Arsenal at The Emirates

Cesc Fabregas enjoyed some well-earned downtime on Monday after helping to inspire Chelsea to a 1-0 win at Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

The Spanish midfielder played the full 90 minutes and was named man of the match as Guus Hiddink’s side secured a battling win in north London thanks to Diego Costa’s first-half goal at Emirates Stadium.

Fabregas has failed to produce consistent performances for Chelsea this season but appeared to be heading back towards his best against his former club in north London.

And the playmaker looked to be in good spirits as he met Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab with his partner on Monday.

Fabregas’ partner Daniella Semaan posted the picture above on her personal Instagram account and wrote: “When Fashion meets sports 😉#PFW @eliesaabworld @cescf4bregas”

Sunday’s win lifted Chelsea up to 13th place in the Premier League table.
