Chelsea plan transfer bid for Real Madrid youngster – report

Chelsea are reportedly considering a transfer bid for Real Madrid youngster Borja Mayoral

Chelsea are lining up a transfer bid for Real Madrid youngster Borja Mayoral, according to reports.

The west London side are reported to be keeping tabs on the 18-year-old forward as they bid to strengthen their attacking options at Stamford Bridge.

Now, the Daily Express is reporting that Chelsea are keen to poach the youngster from Real Madrid before the Spanish club are able to tie him down to a new contract.

The same newspaper report also claims that Manchester United have shown an interest in signing the youngster in recent months.

Mayoral has been in impressive form for Real Madrid’s B team, scoring 11 goals in 24 appearances.

Chelsea have already moved to bolster their attacking options this month with the signing of Alexandre Pato on loan from Corinthians until the end of the season.
