Everton midfielder Aaron Lennon sends a message to Tottenham Hotspur supporters after 1-1 draw
Aaron Lennon has sent a message to Tottenham Hotspur supporters after the Everton winger scored against his former employers in a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park.
The England international broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute with a brilliant volley which beat his old team-mate Hugo Lloris after he moved to Everton in January 2015.
However, promising England starlet Dele Alli levelled on the stroke of half-time after Toby Alderweireld’s brilliant diagnol pass on Merseyside.
Lennon completed a permanent transfer to Everton in the summer, but the Spurs winger paid his respects to his former club following Sunday’s goal at Goodison Park.
Special thanks to both sets of fans for there support for me today means a lot!!!
