Radamel Falcao has taken to social media to reveal that he is closing in on a return to action for Chelsea ahead of the Blues’ trip to Arsenal on Sunday.

Falcao has not featured for the west London club since the 3-1 defeat by Liverpool back on 31 October due to a string of injury problems.

The striker, who joined the Blues on loan from Monaco during the summer transfer window after an unimpressive spell at Manchester United last term, has scored one goal in nine Premier League games for Chelsea so far this season.

And the Colombia international used his personal Instagram account to deliver an update on his rehabilitation as he closes in on a return to action.

Falcao shared the pictures above on the photo-sharing app and wrote: “Working on my recovery. I believe that everything is going to be normal very soon. thanks for the medic Staff. I really appreciate social media message that you send me.”
