Glenn Hoddle: Chelsea will be flying for PSG clash

Former Chelsea manager Glenn Hoddle runs the rule over the Blues improvement under Guus Hiddink

Glenn Hoddle has predicted that Chelsea will be flying when the Blues face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last 16 in February.

Guus Hiddink’s side were impressive 3-0 winners against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon thanks to goals from Oscar, Willian and Diego Costa at Selhurst Park.

The defending Premier League champions are unbeaten since Hiddink replaced axed manager Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge last month after their ninth defeat of the season at Leicester City.

Former Chelsea boss Hoddle is encouraged by the west London side’s improvement under new manager Hiddink, adding that Chelsea could prove a force in the Champions League.

The Blues make the trip to the French capital to take on Ligue 1 holders PSG in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash at Parc des Princes.
